because they can die and make other people die because they can get into a car crash and it’s really unsafe
Answer:
They can be harmful to others.
Explanation:
A distracted driver is usually dangerous for multiple reasons, although to keep this simple i'll only cover one reason. As i said above, they can be harmful to others. When your distracted you tend to loose focus of your surroundings. Usually that would be fine, but in this case when your actively driving it is not. You could easily hit another car, run a red light or hit a pedestrian crossing the road. All of these could cause harm to another person.
Lets first cover the aspect of hitting another car. When this happens, the two vehicles collide with each other. One or both of the cars could be flipped, causing immense damage to the car itself. Sometimes, a person could hit a specific part of the car, which i cannot remember the name of, that would make the engine heat up and the car to explode as most people put it. lets not forget there are people inside these cars. Usually, people in car crashes end up having a broken bone or two, maybe an old injury reopening. If your lucky, you'll get away with some glass shards implanted into your skin. Sometimes, people die from car crashes, which sucks.
Next, we're going to cover hitting pedestrians. This usually ends with a bit of damage to the car and someone badly hurt. When a car hits a pedestrian, the damage depends on the person being hit. If the person has a strong body structure, the car would either be stopped and the person be knocked over, or sometimes the car itself will be flipped, though that i a rather rare occurrence. With a slender and/or skinny build, the person being hit sometimes ends up somewhat under the car. Other times, the person is pushed with such force they are injured with either a snapped bone or some kind of bloody wound.
The last thing we're going to cover is a mixture of these two, which is running a red light. When distracted, you may not see a red light and will most likely end up front face colliding with a car coming from the opposite direction. Both of the drivers will end up being hurt and if there is a passenger in the front seat they'll be injured as well. Sometimes, the car will flip onto the other, other times the engine will overheat.
My point is, distracted drivers usually end up being apart of a car crash in some way.
This is all i could come up with right now. I also would like to say this is all based on research i have gathered from assessing car crashes in my home town, so depending on say, if its snowing or you have a specific profession, the results of distracted driving could vary.
