Answer:
Friedrich Engels, though from a well-to-do family, established himself as a communist revolutionary.
Explanation:
Friedrich Engels was a German industrial, social scientist, author, political theorist, philosopher and founder of Marxist theory together with Karl Marx.
He was the son of the owner of a major textile factory in Manchester, England. Friend and collaborator of Karl Marx, he co-authored with his work such in "The conditionof the working class in England" (1845) and the Communist Manifesto (1848), fundamental to the birth of Marxism and the communist and socialist movements. He was political leader of the First International (1864) and the Second International (1889). He also helped Marx financially to publish "Das Kapital" in 1867, and after his death, he edited the second and third volumes. In addition, Engels organized Marx's notes to compose "Theories about surplus value", which he later published as the "fourth volume" of Das Kapital.
