An investigator doesn't change the value of a  variable parameter because it changes by itself since a variable parameter is factors that change or vary throughout the experiment. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day. Feel free to ask more questions.

Answer: Hi!

Usually you have two types of variables, the independents (parameters that you can change and modify, such as the time you left a potato in a hot oven) And dependent variables ( such as the temperature of said potato when you took it out of the oven).

The parameters in a investigation are independent variables, and you want to change them to see how the changes impact in the dependent variables, in order to describe these changes.
