However, there are evil people (regardless of whether they are rich or poor) who will take advantage of someone else's kindness, and that is why such people generally do not give money. And there is another side, maybe that person is selfish. I don't think you shouldn't give to the poor, you can always set aside something for someone, especially food.

The rich should not give money to the poor because, most people who are poor would not use it wisely. Most would use that money to buy cigarettes or alcohol. The poor do not buy the necessary things that they can use with that money, and then the money that the rich person gave to the poor would just be a waste.

The poor could get a job and make their own money but, some of them would rather just stay like that. Many of them even prefer to not go to homeless shelters. That is why they beg for money on the streets and do not even use the money wisely. Some poor people do use the money that they get wisely though.
