The 7th Amendment is saying that when accused of a crime, they have a right to a jury trial, and when the answer is given (guilty or not guilty) the outcome is final. The 8th Amendment states that when someone is accused you may not charge an unreasonable amount of money/bail and you may not inflict pain or abuse them in any way.
