This enables the cellular processes to be organized and effective due to the fact that each organelle/compartment has its own specific task. The work/processes that are key to the survival of an organism are specifically allocated to organelles in a cell. For example, ribosomes conduct protein synthesis, mitochondrion performs energy production etc.

In a nutshell, this small areas or organelles in the cell makes the biochemical process easy, organized and effective.
