Find the area of the figure.(sides meet at right angles.)

Here we go,
I am going to break this into 3 individual figures, starting with left and moving to right, they are exactly in thirds. Start by multiplying 5 by 6, you get the area of the first figure, (30); the next one will be a bit more tricky but is still doable, to find the height of it we see that the height of the total figure is 6, we see on the side to the left it stays 3, so the height of it is 3 and the length is 5, (as shown by the number below) Multiply this out and we get (15) Now in the next one is the same as the first one, but before we assume something its always good to double check. Ok, it is 5x6 so (30)
First figure: 30
Second figure: 15
Third figure: 30
Add these all together and we get our total area: 75 in^2
