The poem describes how Jack and Jill are physically hurt. Jack because he fell while going up the hill and Jill is also fragile since she stalks up to Jack.

However, the poem shows that even though they are physically fragile, both children are very strong, because they do not cry, nor give up taking the bucket of water that was their responsibility and that was hard work, which they concluded, so that they could later treat of your injuries.
