Apocalyptic means prophecy concerning the ending of all things.
The Protestant reformers and the Evangelical leaders have not traditionally accepted the Apocryphal books as scripture inspired by the holy spirit because;
- Most early churches didn't believe that these books were inspired by the holy Spirit.
- The Protestant reformers and the Evangelical leaders believe that the quality of the writing of the Apocryphal did not compare to the quality of the accepted books,and insinuating that it was not Holy Spirit led.
- The Protestant Reformers and the Evangelical leaders believe that Jesus did not quote from the Apocryphal as he did quote the other books of the Bible.
- The Apocryphal is not included in the ancient Hebrews texts of the holy Bible.
