    [tex]220 = \frac{n v}{2l}[/tex]

and  

     [tex]240 = \frac{(n+1) v}{2l}[/tex]

So

   [tex]\frac{(n + 1 ) v}{2l} - \frac{n v}{2l} = 240-220[/tex]
