It was definitely atrocious and ghastly to maltreat people, who just came to America to have a better life. As a fact, the people who just came to America to have a better life came to America for themselves and not for the government. Think about it, how many people do you know would come to another country for the government? Anyways, during both World War I and September 11th, the government always actually have a corrupt pet peeve of both torment, stereotypes, and as well as some advertising. During the World War I, while America was fighting, the American government pretty much were stimulated the citizens to be very apprehensive towards to the German-Americans. However, during 9/11, it was basically just antagonism, or hostility, that would be actually directed towards the Islamic-Americans. The Arab-Americans weren’t really born into any certain religion, like Islam or Muslim. It would basically be their own decision and they can in fact denied it at any random time.

The first and second world war and the September 11 attack are two terrible and dark historical moments. These attacks caused a lot of pain and suffering to countless people and provoked a feeling of remorse and sadness across the nation.
Germany was said to be the major cause of the two world wars, which caused a giant worldwide remorse towards the Germans and even their descendants. German-Americans faced strong social fears, prejudiced and even xenophobic episodes, even though they were American citizens.
The same happened to Islamic and Arab Americans after the 9/11 attacks. Even if these people were not involved in the attacks and were American citizens, they faced strong social prejudice and intense discrimination on the part of the population.
Although xenophobia and discrimination are similar situations that German-American, Arab-American and Islamic-American citizens faced, there were also different situations that involved other types of prejudice. While American Germans were victims of social rejection, Arabs, Americans and Islamists-Americans were victims of social rejection and policies that profoundly damaged their quality of life, an example of which was the ban on air travel that some were submitted.
These differences are the result of racism and religious prejudice, because German-Americans are expected to be white, have European traits and be Catholic, which are accepted characteristics in our society, however Muslims and Arabs do not fit this type of characteristic.
Accordingly, we must emphasize how prejudice is harmful and can harm many people who are not involved in the problems caused by their ancestors and / or fellow citizens. No human being should be judged for the actions of another, let alone suffer prejudice and be denied rights for acts they did not commit.
