For both the poems, the protagonist does seem to possess a exceptionally emotional journey of observing somebody or something throughout natural environment. In "Daffodils," the participant is forced to think happy  because of the lovely, dancing flowers.In "The Solitary Reaper," the song of youthful Highland woman left him feeling an exquisite eeriness as a consequence of her "mournful" song.

Throughout both poems, the emotional impact on the narrator, as an entity, is of the highest significance, as this is consistent with the Romantic custom of concentrating on the person and his feelings.
