As stated above, Regional Geography emphasizes the distinction of a particular location and the characteristics or activities that make up that location. Regarding the regional geography of Ghana, located in East Africa, we can say that the country has a tropical climate and a vast tropical forest to the north. Like any tropical forest, this one has a huge variety of fauna and flora species, which allows economic activities to be established, such as cocoa production, the extraction of madfeira and minerals, which allows a vast exploration of the area.
The country also has several rivers, including the Volta River, located in the southwest of the country and also allows the establishment of economic activities such as fishing and agriculture.
