What were two reasons the Carolinas split to become two colonies?
religious differences
the farming life style versus the plantation life style
disagreements between the Quakers and the Germans
northerners farming their own land and southerners using slaves or indentured servants

The correct answers among the choices provided are the second and third options. One reason is the farming life style of North Carolina versus the plantation life style of South Carolina. Disagreement between the Quakers and the Germans was the second reason. In general, there is a huge cultural difference between the two states.

I think one of the reasons is farmers of the north farmed their own land while southerners used slaves or indentured servants, but I could be wrong. As the plantation system expanded across the Lower South, many North Carolina slaves were “sold south” to work on large plantations. North Carolina did not have the same investment in slavery as the South.
