The eradication of gender inequality/gap, if you think there is one, would create a society in which women and men do things irregardless of the gender role assigned to that task. "The Glass Ceiling" as it's called, would be effectively shattered. Female CEO's, Presidents, Prime Ministers and more would ensue, as if they don't already. The World as whole could begin to lead to more progressive policies regarding women and their role not only at home, but in the workplace as well. But for something like that to happen, systems directly in the way of gender equality, such as religion, would need to be deradicalized, if not eradicated entirely.
