WILL MARK BRAINLIEST !!!
READ AND WRITE A HYPOTHESIS
1) Read the following paragraph from Concept 8.3 of DiscoveryEd.

Natural or human activities sometimes lead to the introduction of an exotic species to an ecosystem. Although they are non-native to the area, exotic species may become an established part of the community if they are pre-adapted to the new environment. Sometimes they occupy vacant niches and spread very rapidly. Sometimes exotic species are harmless to an ecosystem. Many exotic species, however, cause damage to ecosystems. […] For this reason, they are commonly referred to as invasive species.

2) Write a hypothesis of the type of damage an “invasive species” could cause to an ecosystem and explain how that damage may affect an ecosystem’s stability.

Respuesta :

Answer:

If invansive species cause damage to the ecosystem, then they may cause environmental harm, economic harm, or impact human health.

Explanation:

I hope this helps

Answer:

If an invasive species is introduced into the ecosystem, then the species may cause damage to the ecosystem by competing with the native species for resources and the ability to displace the native species.

Explanation:

When writing a hypothesis, you always want to make sure you use the terms "If and Then". Make sure that the Independent Variable is the "If" and the Dependent variable is the "Then". So think of it like this:  I=I and T=D.  Which is: I (If) = I (Independent) and T (Then) = D (Dependent)

The Independent variable is the invasive species introduced into the new environment. The Dependent variable is the cause for the damage to the ecosystem.
