pink cap that she lost. The
falling action is Maria thanks
Ariel for her lucky pink cap
back. Resolution is in the end
they both get high fives from
their dads. Last the theme is
the only thing that matters is
what you do and not what you
win.

The turning point occurs when Ariel discovers the lucky pink swim hat hidden beneath the bleachers. She must choose whether to deliver, take a pink swim cap back. Ariel is aware that Maria will not participate in the competition without it.
The problem is Ariel had to determine whether to act morally because doing so might alter the situation.
