A is the correct answer. Saints Cyril and Methodius were Christian missionaries to the Slavs from a Byzantine tradition. They were responsible for translating the Bible into the new Glagolitic alphabet created to transcribe old Slav languages.

I believe the answer is: translated the Bible into the new alphabet written for the Slavic language

The translation that Cyril and Methodious did make it possible for people in slavic area to understand the  teachings in the bible. It is believed that large population of catholics/christians in eastern europe today can be contributed to their efforts.
