Calories are a vital source of energy required by the body which enables the cells and organs of the body to function effectively. but after the body must have absorbed the required energy from the calories we consume, the excess calories are stored as fat which leads to an increase in weight overtime, but when these excess calories are burnt the individual will lose weight .

Hence we can conclude that the Teen's weight will reduce over time as he continues to burn more calories than he consumes.
