Respuesta :
The lines which have given are parallel to each other.
What are parallel lines?
Two lines in the same plane that are equally spaced apart and never cross each other are said to be parallel lines.
Parallel lines are those lines in which slopes are the same and the distance between them remains constant.
In other meaning parallel lines are the lines in which the distance between them remains constant.
For example;
2x + 3y = 7 ⇒ slope = -2/3
4x + 6y = 9 ⇒ slope = -2/3
Since slopes are the same so both lines will be parallel.
Given the equations
x − y = 2
The slope of this equation is dy/dx = 1
y = x + 1
The slope of this equation is dy/dx = 1
Since slopes are the same so both equations must be parallel.
