I agree with both statements. While mental health may have an effect on how much screentime teens get it may also be a matter of parenting. Many teenagers just don't think about when to stop playing a game and that's where parents step in to limit screen time. On the other hand Many teen rely on videos games and other activities involving screens for social interaction. I believe both statements are true in different situations so this issue should be handled case to case.
