A good presentation involves very little text on each slide and more talking to your audience than reading what's on the screen. You may want to have maybe 3-4 bullet points per slide, giving you talking cues! No one wants to watch a presenter drone on about things they could've read from the screen.

Next is eye contact! Connect to your audience on an intimate level by smiling and trying to push down any habit of embarrassment or anxiety. Keep your hands to your sides unless you're pointing at a graph or picture on the screen. Try not to move or fiddle with anything, as that can be a distraction.

The last thing is aesthetic. If your slides are messy and colorless, no one will want to pay attention. You must give it a color scheme that matches whatever picture you put in. However, stay away from bright and vivid colors-keep your tones low and readable.
