this is the last week of school for me and i need help pleaseee !!
Answer the following prompt in a CER format:
Cold Packs are often used to treat injuries. Cold Packs are designed in such a way that
when the pack gets snapped, it breaks the vessel allowing all of the reactants to mix.
Upon mixing the pack gets very cold. Is the reaction in the cold pack an endothermic or exothermic reaction. Write a CER to defend your answer.

Respuesta :

Answer:

The reaction in the cold pack is an endothermic reaction

Explanation:

An endothermic reaction is a reaction that absorbs energy (heat) from the surrounding to supply the required energy of activation that allows the occurrence of the reaction

Therefore, when a reaction is endothermic, it boundary or the system where the reaction is occurring feels cold to touch

Hence, the reaction in the cold pack is an endothermic reaction.

Answer:

It was a endothermic reaction.

Explanation:

It was endothermic reaction, which absorbs heat from the surroundings and gives it the required energy to perform the chemical reaction to stay cold because when squeeze a cold pack  the tube between one bag and another bag breaks allowing them to combine so the water in one bag and the chemical in a different bag collides and absorbs heat making it a endothermic reaction.

Hope that helped!
