What happens to Moishe the Beadle when the foreign Jews are expelled from Sighet?
He is allowed to stay in Sighet with Elie’s family
He runs away and hides out in the woods until that coast is clear
He is taken to a concentration camp and never heard from again
He escapes being killed and buried in a mass grave with the rest of the foreign Jews because he has been shot in the leg and left for dead. He then returns to Sighet to warn the other Jews there about what has happened.
