Why didn't the US respond with airstrikes or an invasion of Cuba? If you had been a member of ExComm, what advice would you have given to the President? Why?
The United States did not strike with force against the CUban Missile crisis because they were afraid of the M.A.D theory which stated that in a war both sides will use atomic weapons and will ensure complete destruction of both sides.
