while they are both attacks against the united states, one was in an act of war (pearl harbor), while the other was an act of terrorism (9/11). They both negatively impacted the U.S, for instance pearl harbor set us back in world war 2, it left us at a huge disadvantage in our naval and air units of combat. But it gave us a want to come back stronger. The same goes with the events of 9/11, we got hit with a huge tragedy. But, we were able to over come and become stronger as a country because of it, we also took it into our own hands to face the war on terrorism over in t middle east. Because of that we gained many new allies all over the world. Overall the events of 9/11 & pearl harbor were very similar in motives, but in they end we prospered and fought through to come out on top.
