OLEAS EHELP!!!
Describe how a trophic pyramid models energy in an ecosystem. What does the
size of the box represent? How do the size of the boxes change as you go up?

Respuesta :

The bottom of the pyramids are the producers and primary consumers and the top are the secondary and tertiary consumers. The bottom is bigger because it gives all the primary consumers 10% of their energy, the primary consumers give off 10% of their energy to the secondary and so on. The bottom represents how much energy is started off with and by the time you get to the tertiary consumers there is little energy left and that’s why the top is smaller.
