It's a special kind of pronoun. Normally used when the sentence is the same as the subject. So it would be " We treated ourselves to pizza."
A reflexive pronoun will always contain “self” or “selves” and will reference (or reflect back to) the subject of the sentence. For instance, “myself” is the reflexive pronoun in the following sentence:
I made myself laugh.
As a result, it can be said that a sentence with a reflexive pronoun will have the subject doing something to itself. With that in mind, the sentence that contains a reflexive pronoun is the following sentence:
We treated ourselves to pizza.
Again, we can see that the subject is doing something to itself—treating itself to pizza.
