2/3 * 6/5 = 12/15 reduces to 4/5

Dividing fractions is the same as multiplying fractions but one additional step is needed.

You want to switch the numerator and the denominator on the second fraction. In this case, [tex]\frac{2}{3}[/tex] ÷ [tex]\frac{5}{6}[/tex], you would leave 2/3 alone but for 5/6, 6 would act as the numerator and 5 would act as the denominator.

Finally, you would multiply across we we get 12/15 and when we simplify, we will get an answer of 4/5
