The nucleotide sequence transcribed from DNA to a strand of messenger-RNA (mRNA) is a genetic message
that has all the information needed to build a protein. The message is written in a special language that
uses nitrogen bases as its alphabet. Remember that proteins are made up of chains of amino acids. There
are 20 different amino acids, coded for by only 4 nitrogen bases. Check below all of the nitrogen bases that
are found in mRNA.
