A teen and know the best forms of protection and be aware of STIs that they could possibly be exposed to. They should also have a doctor they trust and a trusted adult. All teens should know that their body is their own and if they feel it has been violated they can tell someone a trusted adult. The best protection is awareness of the people around them that can give support and of their own body.
