The main point of the article was that b. Though ancient Greece is most famous for its democracy, many different  systems of government existed across its city-states.

Athens as a Greek city-state, pioneered democracy and this made them quite famous. Other city states however, followed other styles. For instance:

  • Sparta had a totalitarian state with two kings
  • Thrace had a king as well
  • Macedon had kings who practiced absolute monarchies

We can therefore conclude that even though some Greek city-states like Athens practiced democracy, other city-states practiced other forms of government.
