It asked you to calculate the amount due. So first you need to calculate the interest and then add it to the principle amount to know how much you owe. Interest = (PRT)/100 = (4000×5×6)/100 = 1200. Amount due = 4000 + 1200 = $5200. Not sure how you get cent in it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
