Conservation is important for protecting the domestic units and small manufacturing units but not to limit the choices and way of living of people.

Explanation:

Conservation is important for the government to protect the domestic industries and the small manufacturing units of the country from the competition.

But it is not thought to be good for the people because for them, it is regulating the way they spend their lives, restricting the choices available to them. For business also, restrictions and conservation on them limits their growth and they can not make full use of the resources.
