The right ventricle pumps blood to the lungsbody while the left ventricle pumps blood to the lungsbody.
The right ventricle collects blood that traveled throughout the body, and sends it to the right ventricle so that it is ejected into the lungs to be re-oxygenated. Similarly, the left ventricle passively collecting the blood that passed through the lungs and carries it to the left ventricle ejects the freshly oxygenated blood throughout the body.
