I would in particular would drive a car because a car is the most speedy automobile to transport on (at least in Birmingham, UK) so you wouldn't be late to a lecture or a doctor's appointment. Also transportating yourself by a car reduces effort of walking or driving a bike. Last but not least a car has temperature control so you could adjust the temperature whenever you want. This is why I assume a car is a convenient automobile to transport on.
