Answer:
Short arrows of equal length are added to the gravitational force model.
While long arrows with the same length are added to the electrostatic model inorder to show the relative strength of each force in it.
The gravitational force arrows are pointed toward each another simply because the force attracts.
Electrostatic force arrows must be pointed toward each other for charges of objects that are opposite, and away for object with like charges this is because objects with the similar charge will repel one another.
Explanation:
the model is from the attachment

To correct the model the students should represent the forces with the help of arrows to demonstrate the strength and nature of the forces.
- The gravitational force is always attractive and the same amount of force is exerted on both the masses, so they must be represented by arrows of equal lengths pointing towards each other.
- The electrostatic force can be attractive or repulsive depending upon the set of charges present, if both the particles have the same nature of the charge ( negative or positive) they repel each other, but if the two charges are oppositely charged then they attract each other.
- If the electrostatic force is attractive then the arrows must be of equal length for each particle and pointed towards each other, and if the force is repulsive then the arrows must be of equal length but pointed in opposite direction, away from each other.
- To express the relative strength of the gravitational force and the electrostatic force, the arrows representing electrostatic force must be longer than that of gravitaional force, since electrostatic force is much stronger than the gravitationa force.
