As humans we have always been inventing, from fire in the neolithic era to leg warmers in the 21st century. If it wasn't for our creativity our ancestors would never have survived the long winters and starvation. From making weapons to devising new battle plans, our ancestors were creative and most of them used their intelligence for their own gain which was such a mistake. If we had used our creativity and invention skills for the gain of others and for the health of Earth, our world would be such a cleaner and nicer place. It is not too late though, many people do use their creativity and intelligence for the gain of others and the overall health of a community (Gandhi, Tesla etc)
