Answer: A cost may be that let's say, you have to spend 115 dollars to get into Disney World, but a benefit is you have a great time.

Explanation: Another cost may be, you buy a computer that's good for gaming, but a benefit is now you have a computer that can do many things including gaming.

And on a final note, one cost may be you have to spend $60 a month on rent for your apartment, but a benefit is now you have somewhere to put your things and live in.

A cost-benefit analysis is an organized method used by organizations to determine which actions should be made and which should be avoided. The cost-benefit analyst adds up the potential benefits of a situation or activity, then subtracts the overall costs of pursuing that action.

Costs:

Time away from sleep  

No time to hang out all-day

No time to play video games

Benefits:

More money to spend.

More experience in the workforce.

A better resume for when you get another job.

  • After assessing the benefits and costs, I have concluded that they are not equally significant to me.

  • While it may be a valid question for a high school student to ponder whether or not they should get more sleep, the advantages clearly exceed the costs in this debate, as sleep lowers the time spent on homework.

I agree with this statement, and I believe that the advantages would have a stronger influence on my selection.
