When you have a crush, an advantage in my opinion would be being excited to see them and being happy that this person is in your life. Wanting to get up in the morning and seeing the world in a light that wasn't there before. And some disadvantages would be feeling absolutely awful if this person was in a relationship, or if they don't seem interested in you. And going home at night feeling stupid and useless if you did or said something around them that wasn't "perfect". Hating life when you embarrass yourself in front of them. And getting your heart broken when they turn you down or date someone else.
