The main character asked her friends to help her train so she could have a feeling of what it was like to be chased by Zombies.

In the paragraph 7 of the passage, she recruited her friends to chase her because even though she had been trying, she had no idea what it would be like to actually be chased by a zombie.

Down the passage, her friends played the a trick on her while playing the Zombie role for Halloween. They scared her so much till she ran as much as she said she wanted to in the beginning.
