The Native Americans were the worst hit by the railroad construction because most of there lands and farms were destroyed during construction of the transcontinental railroad across America and also they were not allowed to work on the railroad even the Chinese immigrants and Irish immigrants .

The economic winner was the American economy while the loser was Native Americans.
