A lacrosse player has come into the training room complaining of extreme pain and weakness in her Achilles tendon, especially when she pushes off to sprint down the field. Your evaluation indicates that there is point tenderness, swelling, erythremia, mild crepitation, and pain on motion. What would you suggest for managing this injury

Respuesta :

An elastic wrap must continue to be applied and since the injuries in the Achilles Tendon generally become chronic, conservative treatment should be carried which may involve physical therapy, injection and anti inflammatory medication. Conservative treatments are used for non-surgical options.
