I don’t know how to use elimination without getting decimals when I divide to get like x’s or y’s

The equation for elimination is
-4x-2y=14
-10x+7y=-25

the answer is ‘y=30’

i don’t really know how to explain it but multiply the first top number’-4x’ with all of the bottom numbers. Multiply the first number at the bottom ‘-10’ by all the numbers at the top.

-40x+28y=-100
