Talk about the role of Malala’s parents, especially her father Ziauddin. How does her father break the societal norms of what a father should be? If you were her parents, would you have encouraged her to learn to read and write, and to speak out? Can anyonnehelp me this book is named i am malala the girl who stood up for education and was shot by the taliban

I read this book a few weeks ago. Her father broke societal norms by encouraging a daughter to be educated and to make herself known. In her culture, women are not supposed to be educated and should never speak to men outside of their family (this becomes the main conflict in the book.) The second part of this is your opinion. If you were her parents, would you have let her be educated and speak out? Keep in mind the culture she is in. Hope this helps!
