1. Malaria is caused by a parasite called Plasmodium species. The disease is spread among humans and animals by mosquitos. Design an experiment to develop new methods to control malaria in Africa. Include your hypothesis, treatments and controls. Which level of biological hierarchy will be studied or affected at different stages of the experiment

Answer:Experiment title:-New methods to control malaria in Africa

Experiment equipment:-4containers filled with water and 4empty neat containers...

Hypothesis:-mosquito lay eggs in stagnant water surfaces and as a result people living in areas with stagnant water and dirty gutters have malaria mostly.

Aim of experiment:- To show how mosquitoes can be contended.

METHOD

experiment location 1 :- place 4 containers filled with water in four strategic points

Experiment location 2:-place 4 empty containers in four strategic places..

OBSERVATION

After like 3week it is discovered that the water in the containers are now contaminated and have mosquito larvae growing in them

While in location 2 nothing happened to the empty containers...

CONCLUSION

It can be concluded that areas with dirty gutter, ponds, stagnant waters have more mosquitoes consequently the population in that area will suffer from malaria often

While in location 2 no mosquito larvae was found meaning that people living in neat dry environments will suffer less mosquito bite and less malaria....

CONTROL

AFRICAN environment should be kept clean and stagnant waters should be dealt with..gutters should be cleaned always..

TREAMENTS:-malaria victims should be given anti malaria treatment and move away from dirty environments or keep their present environments clean.

THE BIOLOGICAL hierarchy that will be affected is POPULATION.. population is the number of organisms of the same specie living in an area...
