Steering committee is a group of advisors, stakeholders, or subject matter experts who offer guidance, give advice on important issues, and provide direction. That direction may come in the form of helping formulate business policies or procedures, offering insight on finances or marketing, or even making decisions to guide a particular project from start to completion.
