How does the king of brobdingnag react when gulliver offers to give him the secret of gunpowder?

The king of Brobdingnag in Gulliver's Travels is "struck with Horror" and disgusted by Gulliver's proposals (regarding gunpowder as it is used in England). He tells Gulliver that if he values his life, he should never mention gunpowder again!

The King of Brobdingnag is disgusted by the existence of gunpowder so that  Gulliver is forbidden by him to ever mention it again.

Brobdingnag is a fictional land in Jonathan Swift's 1726 satirical novel Gulliver's Travels inhabited by giants.
