Answer:
The Earth would not have seasons if it was tilted. It would still be warm and cold (depending on the area) though. The tilt of the Earth allows different seasons for how the sun is positioned with the Earths tilt. I would end up living somewhere near Iowa because of the climate year round now, it wouldn't make a huge difference.

Answer:
Question 1:
Earth has different seasons because its axis is tilted. Earth's axis is always pointed in the same direction, so different parts of Earth get the Sun's direct rays throughout the year. For example, in summer, the Sun's rays hit that region more directly than at any other time of the year.
Question 2:
I would prefer to live with the Earth tilted because I like to have the different seasons throughout the year. I mainly like spring and summer the most.
If the Earth weren't tilted on its axis, there would be no seasons. And humanity would suffer. When a Mars-size object collided with Earth 4.5 billion years ago, it knocked off a chunk that would become the moon. It also tilted Earth sideways a bit, so that our planet now orbits the sun on a slant.
Hope I helped answer the question:)
