The ype of spark is known as "Lightning".

Explanation:

Lightning is produced by the electricity(electric charges) moving in between the clouds and the ground. Inside a thunder cloud in the sky, several little pieces of ice (frozen raindrops) collide into each other as they impel round in the air. All of those particles collide with each and other and create an electric charge. After a while, the entire cloud loads up with electrical charges. The protons are developed at the top of the cloud and the electrons are produced at the base of the cloud. Since opposite charges attract, that produces a positive charge to build upon the ground beneath the cloud. The earth's electrical charge accumulates around things that stick up, such as mountains, people, or single trees. The charge expanding up from these points ultimately combines with a charge moving down from the clouds and lightning is produced.
